Drink Water !!!

Please be sure to hydrate yourself, especially in these summer months. I cannot stress enough, that if you are a woman of size, or an older adult, you must drink MORE water for good health than your younger, thinner counterparts. You must particularly remember to drink while engaging in any physical activity. The normal guideline of eight, 8oz. glasses of water (one half gallon) per day may not be sufficient for you.

If you don’t have the water drinking habit yet, try this. Take a half gallon pitcher of water and fill it with cold, fresh water everyday. (Bring it with you if you are out of the house for extended periods of tme.) By the end of the day, that pitcher should be empty.

Yes, coffee and tea are made with water, but those drinks should not make up more than half of your fluid intake each day. If at all possible, eliminate soft drinks (even diet soft drinks), or try and reduce the intake of soda significantly to no more than one beverage per day. Soft drinks can dehydrate you.

IF YOUR URINE IS CLEAR AND ODORLESS, YOU ARE HYDRATED.
